Leena has been practicing as an Average Adjuster with International Insurance Brokers since 1993, and has over 27 years of experience in the marine insurance field. In 2012, she established her own adjusting firm, M/s. Leena Mody & Associates (LMA) in Mumbai, India. She was mentored by Ravindra Sankalia, who was a Full Member of Association of Average Adjusters, US. Leena is presently on the Examination as well as Advisory & Dispute Resolution Panel of the Association of Average Adjusters, UK and Member of the Association Mondiale de Dispacheurs (AMD) / International Association of Average Adjusters. Leena has delivered Papers on Average Adjusting, Marine Insurance Claims, etc., at various Seminars and Training Workshops within India and Overseas. It takes years to train an Average Adjuster and she guides office assistants at LMA, as well as, willing candidates who plan to appear for the examination and qualify as Associate / Fellow Member of the Association.

He had handled wide range of Average Adjusting and Marine Claims in his long tenure practicing as an Average Adjuster first at Alexander & Alexander, US. Thereafter, headed the Average Adjusting Division at a reputed International Insurance Brokers in Mumbai, before he mentored Leena Mody & Associates from the time of its establishment in 2012. He was a very senior and respected professional within the marine & insurance industry. He delivered Papers on Marine Claims and Adjusting within domestic and international market.
